Welcome to the Rotary Club of Littlehampton Web site

Thank you for your interest in the web site of the Rotary Club of Littlehampton, and I hope that you will find the information on the Club of interest. The Club has been serving both our town and the wider community since 1923 , as we were the 133rd Rotary Club to be formed in the world after the founding of Rotary International in February, 1923.
Now there are some 30,000 Rotary Clubs and around 1¼ million members in the world , and membership of Rotary International gives men & women the opportunity to make new friendships while sharing the rewards of helping others through voluntary service. Rotary Clubs are open to people of every race, culture and creed and we are all united under the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”.
The Littlehampton Club provides an individual with the chance to socialize, network with like minded people and to plan service activities based on local needs and their own interests and talents. You will see else where on the web site just some of the activities the Club are currently working on , both locally as well as abroad.
Although fund raising is one of our activities this is not the Club's only aim , as
our emphasis is on personal contribution through community activities which make a real difference to the lives of those in need both locally and abroad. If you would like to find out more about both Rotary International and our Club please use the contact details shown, and we welcome visitors, by prior arrangement, to our weekly Club meetings.
So please do not hesitate to get in touch, and thank you once again for your interest.
Kind regards,
Mike Findlay
